Welcome to the online home of UCR's Graduate Student Association. We hope you'll join us this year as we work to make UC Riverside a more enjoyable and exciting place for graduate research and life. 

Come and visit us in the Highlander Union Building Suite 203. We share a joint lobby with ASUCR Suite 202. Feel free to contact the officers via email or phone to make appointments so that you can get acquainted and find out how you can get involved.

  • Open Committees: The list of committees, both internal and external to GSA, which need members. GSA representatives are required to serve on at least one committee, but positions are available to all graduate students. Also, students may serve on more than one committee if they like.   • Events: Check out our frequently updated events page for information about symposia, lectures, workshops, and shows happening this week. If you have an event that you'd like us to list, please email Stephanie, our Public Relations officer, at publicity.gsa@ucr.edu.

Recent Documents and Information

  • Start a Mini-GSA: If your department does not have a departmental organization to represent graduate students, you should form one now. Mini-GSA’s offer the opportunity to have a unified graduate student voice for your department and help strengthen the voice of the entire graduate student body. To top it off, we will give your Mini-GSA $300 a year that you're free to spend on programs, speakers, or even just snacks at your monthly meeting. Learn more about the mini-GSA program.

  • Conference Travel Grant Awards

    Attendee:
    $64 per event independent of location

    Presenter:
    $200 per event in the Southwest (California, Arizona, or Nevada)
    $250 per event in the continental United States
    $250 per event in Hawaii, Alaska, Canada, Puerto Rico, and Mexico
    $300 per event for all other locations in the world.
